About
Mushy PsyNoir is a dark idol horror music and cosplay group created and led by Mushy. The members are real people. Each one performs as a stage persona, in costume and in character, the way an idol group or a cosplay troupe would. The personas live inside the story. The people wearing them are real.
The group works across five parts that share one continuity: music released to Spotify and every major platform, a film, a novel called Into Da Rememba, a role-playing game with the same title, and an interactive web experience built as a world rather than a promo page.
The sound sets cute idol pop against consuming horror. The visual world is biological rather than mechanical: wet skin, spores, gills, amethyst beaded regalia, black water. It draws on Japanese psychological horror, gothic idol cinema, anime and Sumerian myth.

Our Story
Mushy PsyNoir started in 2023 as a cosplay group with a story we built together. For a long time it lived only in our Discord. The characters, the world of Into Da Rememba and its lore grew a little at a time, and we never planned on taking any of it public.
What held it back was the scenery. The world we wrote needs flooded caves, mushroom temples and black water, and indie artists don't have a film studio budget to build that. AI tools finally let us put our real performances inside the world we'd imagined. The members, the costumes, the story and the songs were already ours. AI gave us the backdrop.
In 2026, we started sharing it.

Mushy is the gaming name of the real founder, owner and creative lead of Mushy PsyNoir. She was born in 2006. She writes and sings the songs, directs the visuals and builds the websites. Mushy is her gaming name, the one everyone knows her by. Her real name is kept private. In the story she also plays a persona called Mushy, and a second persona, Mother. Her birth year belongs to her, the real person, not to either character.
Outside the music, Mushy is a 3D artist. Unreal Engine is her passion, and she also works in Blender. Her goal is to become a film director. Early in her career, she uses AI tools for now as a way to learn visual storytelling and to put the story on screen, while she builds toward directing full productions.
Hailee is the real co-founder and co-owner of Mushy PsyNoir. She was born in 2005 and contributes to the music. She also performs as a member of the group.
The other members are real people too. Their ages are kept private.
